MEND is part of a clothing campaign to wear patches and clothing that inspire activism and expression in positive outlets. QR patches are hand embroidered and when scanned with a phone, will direct viewers to specific organizational websites that encourage growth and participation.
The main product focuses on large patches that depict a QR code. Accompanying merchandise is suggested as possible expansion on the passion project such as stickers, magnets, t-shirts, embroidery, and sweatshirts. This personal project was influenced by the artist and professor, Anne Galperin, who used social commentary in her art and crafting project, The Collective Consciousness. You can find her work here.
